Like all Betty Crocker mixes, these are incredibly simple to make. Just add egg, water and oil as instructed.
Mix until creamy.
Then spoon onto baking trays lined with parchment...
Pop into the oven. While they are cooking, get started on the filling.
Add milk to the filling powder and mix until fluffy. You may want to separate it into two halves and add food colour to one. That's what I did...
YUM!
Take your now-baked-whoopies out of the oven and transfer to cooling racks. Wait until they are completely cool to start filling.
You can either pipe or spoon the filling. I chose to spoon as it's faster and easier. Simply take one side, and spoon about a spoonful of filling on and place another side over the top. Easy!
Serve! You might want to display them on a cake stand and serve at a party, or maybe give as a gift.
Stored in an airtight container, they last about 2-3 days in the fridge.
Hope you've enjoyed my first baking post. Check back soon for another!
